About Artwork

This work is part of a series titled Identity an Illusion. The characters in this series of images have been portrayed by the artist herself in reference to the history of Indian women from the colonial era to the subsequent times. The photographs have been shot in collaboration with Ms Rosy Potter of Wimbledon School of Art and then transfered into acrylic-based screenprints on German-made Zerkel paper.
