Iranian-born artist, living and working in Teheran, holding a Master of Fine Arts from Valand school of Fine Arts, in Gothenburg, Sweden and currently practicing art in the forms of photography, video art and installation. I use my inter-disciplinary background to develop art projects. Cultural changes in Iran have challenged me to cope with everyday life and enriched the sources of my artistic practice. Everyday objects that juxtapose with material qualities inspire my art. Comprising mixed media projects focused on a problem, questioning it in different contexts. In a consistent basis, by exploring different mediums, I find a ways to showcase an object that would present itself beyond its identified image, its own properties, and considering its relation to the different layers in artistic context. Visual aesthetics and merging them into a conceptually layered piece is a fundamental part of my oeuvre. It is comprised of series of works, which have evolved over time, dealing with and questioning identity and problematic anarchy issues. Loop based concepts in life structured the general notion of my art. I believe that life is maneuvers, the end of which is connected to the beginning, crosses it.
